Since 1 May 2022, most goods made in India enter the UAE duty-free. The UAE is also a hub for buyers across the Gulf and Africa, so one good distributor there reaches many markets.

From 20 October 2026, goods made in India enter New Zealand without import duty. A small market with steady demand, where a first distributor can carry your product for years.

Which new trade agreements matter most for Indian exporters?
The UK agreement (from 15 July 2026), Oman (from 1 June 2026) and New Zealand (from 20 October 2026) are the newest in force, and the UAE agreement has applied since 2022. The India–EU agreement has been concluded but is not yet in force.
How does GloballSeller use trade agreements?
Every market GloballSeller suggests shows whether your country has a trade agreement there, whether it is in force, and when an upcoming one starts. It is worked out for the seller's own country, so an exporter in Vietnam or Turkey sees their own agreements, not India's.
How often is the agreement list updated?
Every month, against the WTO Regional Trade Agreements database, plus official announcements for agreements the WTO has not listed yet.
